The British Columbia Social Studies Teacher's Association (BCSSTA) is a professional organization made up of teachers and other educational professionals who are:

• interested in the broad field of Social Studies education
  
• members of the British Columbia Teachers Accociation (BCTF)
  
• members of the British Columbia Social Studies Teacher's Association, which is one of many Professional Specialist's Association within the BCTF
