BCAEA ListServe

In conjunction with the BCTF, the BCAEA is pleased to introduce an email discussion list for the use of its members, administrators, and youth care workers involved with the education of at-risk youth.

Joining the ListServe

Joining is easy. Visit the BCTF email list page by clicking on the button below. Once on the page, select psa-bcalted from the drop down list. Make sure the join radio button is selected, type the email address at which you would like to receive email in the box, then click on send. That's all there is to it! You should receive a welcome message in short order.

Leaving the list

Should you decide to leave the list at any time, follow the same procedure as joining, but select the leave radio button instead.

Posting to the List

To post to the discussion list, send email to psa-bcalted@bctf.ca. By default, (and we can't change it) the list is set up so that when you reply to a message, you are replying to the message sender, rather than replying to the group. In most cases, you would probably want to use the reply all or reply group button in your email program so that all members can benefit from the conversation. In any discussion group like this one, the number of lurkers greatly outnumbers the active participants, yet all stand to gain when the dialogue is available to everyone.
