After a review of the "Hanukkah: Eight Days – Eight Actions" facilitator’s guide, participants will brainstorm ways to integrate other December cultural holidays into the theme of energy use awareness. The program is founded on the four pillars of sustainability: Leave it, Eat it, Spare it and Share it. Together they form the L.E.S.S. Test which is the lens through which every decision or choice is examined. This assessment tool clarifies whether an action being taken is in the long term best interest of the school community.
