<title>Canada's Parks Day Special Celebration in Stanley Park</title>
<description>July 16, 2011, Stanley Park, Vancouver - Parks Canada would like to invite you to a very special event taking place on Canada's Parks Day, 
July 16th, at Brockton Point in Vancouver's Stanley Park.&lt;br /&gt;
As you're likely aware, 2011 marks Canada's centennial as the world's first national parks service and we're busy 
celebrating across the country and throughout the year with events that highlight 100 years of world leadership in 
conservation, education and visitor experience programs. We have lots to celebrate including one of the most extensive 
networks of protected national heritage places in the world with 167 national historic sites, 42 national parks and 
4 national marine conservation areas.&lt;br /&gt;
We'd love you to join us and Parka the Beaver in one of Vancouver's most beloved places, Stanley Park 
(at Brockton Point), for a fun-filled family day of festivities from 12 noon to 5 pm. A free outdoor concert from 4 pm 
to 8:30 pm will feature the young singer-songwriter-composer Kate Morgan from Kamloops, the Saskatoon rock band 
The Sheepdogs, and Somali-Canadian hip-hop singer K'Naan.&lt;br /&gt;
