Outdoor Activity Study Kits

 

For effective outdoor learning, every student must be equipped with a basic outdoor study kit. The following kits provide ideas for preparing students to learn outdoors. A Basic Kit will get your class ready for a quick classroom exit at any opportune moment. Additional kits will help to organize your students for special activities before that "perfect" outdoor day arrives.

 

BASIC KIT: a simple kit to get started
NATURE STUDIES KIT: birds, bugs, plants and ponds; identify, interpret and improve the living world around you.
LANDSCAPE STUDIES KIT: measure, map and model your community using tools of math
WEATHER STUDIES KIT: read and record the ever changing patterns of the weather
GARDENING KIT: planting, pruning, composting and cultivating all take careful attention and the appropriate tools.
