K.C.T.U. SCHOLARSHIP/BURSARY
APPLICATION FORM

 

This is a limited competition.  Our current policy is to provide up to twelve awards of $500.  Some eligible candidates may not be selected for awards. Selection will be by the KCTU Scholarship Committee and will be based upon a combination of scholastic achievement, citizenship, and school and/or community service during the secondary school years. 

Eligibility

1. Parent must be an active member of the Kootenay Columbia Teachers Union.
2. Applicant must register in a post-secondary institute within two years of winning the award.
3. KCTU cheque will be issued upon receipt of proof of registration in a post secondary institution.
4. Certified copy of marks from grades 10, 11, and 12.
5. Winners of the award will be announced at the Grad Ceremony.

Deadline for receipt of application is Friday, April 29, 2011.
