Activity at the table
This week, the bargaining teams met for two days. Following a general discussion of both packages, we spent time discussing concerns related to local-matters issues. We hope to resolve these items at our next session.
Adult educators
BCTF and BCPSEA are entering a mediation/arbitration phase of the negotiations for adult educators as provided for in the first provincial agreement. Our position continues to be that all terms and conditions of collective agreements apply to adult educators. BCPSEA has the view that only a limited number of articles have application for this group of teachers.
