You can get cash back if you donate to a political party involved in the May 12 election!
BC election law allows generous rebates.
For example, if you donate $100 to a party, you deduct $75 from tax payable next year. If you donate $200, you get back $125. For $550, you get back $300.
Political parties rely on donations to promote their message and candidates. Our democratic process relies on the generosity of citizens. Your contribution to the party of your choice can make a difference.

A tax credit is donated from the provincial portion of tax payable. Contributions of $100 or less receive a 75% rebate, from $100 to $550 receive 50% rebate and from $550 to $1150 receive 33.33%
