Request that a BCTF.ca account be created or deleted for a local union staff member

This form allows local unions to request that a BCTF.ca account be created or deleted for a specific local union staff member who has a support or administrative role at the local union office. 

A BCTF.ca account with the "Local Union Support Staff" permission level

  • Provides access to any information normally confidential to BCTF Members and Local Union Officers such as bargaining updates, bargaining strategy documents, the Members' Guide, grant applications, local bargaining documents.
  • Does not provide access to in-committee documents such as RA documents available to Local Presidents

If a local union staff member does not require access to this type of information to perform their role, please do not request an account.

Information for the BCTF.ca Account

BCTF members, BCTF staff members, and everyone else who requests access to confidential information on BCTF.ca must use an individual account which is not shared with anyone else.

Because individuals log in to BCTF.ca using their email address, the email address you provide next as a  username can't also be used by another staff members as their username.

Once received, this request must be manually processed by the Member Records department of the BCTF. This process takes three business days and you will not be able to login using this account until it is created.
