Six delegates and two alternates

The next Annual General Meeting of the Canadian Teachers’ Federation will be held July 6–8, 2022 in Ottawa . As a CTF member organization, the BCTF has an allotted number of voting delegates at this meeting. As was the case last year, it is expected that the BCTF will qualify for 12 voting delegates.

Our delegation is made up of six members elected by the BCTF Representative Assembly with the remaining number of delegates chosen by the BCTF Executive Committee. The RA also elects two alternates in order for there to be replacements, should anyone need to cancel out before the meeting. All members are eligible to apply to be one of the delegates chosen by the Representative Assembly when it meets on January 28–29, 2022.

To apply, please submit the application form online. Only those applications received by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19 will be considered by the Representative Assembly.
