The Gulf Islands Teachers' Association

The Gulf Islands Teachers' Association is comprised of dedicated teachers from 5 islands (Salt Spring, Pender, Mayne, Galiano, and Saturna) representing 10 schools plus Windsor House on the mainland. We currently have approximately 110 FTE contracted teachers (not including TOCs) in the district. The district student population is approximately 1600.
