(six vacancies—three-year terms)
Every year, thousands of teachers attend workshops facilitated by BCTF associates. Teachers selected as associates work as volunteers and are provided with release time and expenses to cover faciliation of workshops/presentations. Associates will receive training both in general design/facilitation skills and in content specific to one of the program areas. Travel, meals, childcare, and accommodation expenses for the training session will be covered by the BCTF. Preference will be given to applicants of Aboriginal descent (you must self-identify as Aboriginal on your application). See the full details and curriculum vitae form at http://www.bctf.ca/opportunities/BCTFAssociates.aspx.
