An introduction to linear relations using patterns. Students complete the next several terms of various linear patterns including those involving negative numbers, they are then tasked with finding the 115th term of a particular pattern.
I use this as an intro to linear relations, as it creates a need to know and an understanding of how the equation of a line/arithmetic sequence works.
