BCTF Salary Indemnity Plan
The BCTF Salary Indemnity Plan (SIP) is a self-funded disability plan that covers all regular contract teachers and associated professionals in British Columbia’s public schools. It provides both short- and long-term benefits to teachers who, due to illness or injury, are disabled from working and have exhausted all of their sick leave.
