It is designed to help students gain perspective on how their lives connect with sustainability and supports them with understanding that decisions they make in their life now, play an important role in the future of our ecosystems. Students will collect and examine the personal waste they create, the impact it has on the environment and steps they can take to make changes in their daily wasteful habits. This lesson focuses on the waste pathways used in the Metro Vancouver area.
