This activity provides students with information (bullet points in a table) about how the Canadian government responded to the Great Depression and COVID-19. The students must complete short-answer questions related to: comparing the two responses; assessing why there is a difference between the responses; deciding which response was more effective; evaluating the benefits and drawbacks of the government's response to COVID-19.
