Well-being Canada is an educational program that uses evidence-based tools and resources to nurture and promote positive well-being in students. The resources were developed by experts in mental health, social emotional learning, education and youth engagement. The program continues to develop with additional resources such as an Indigenous Module on Trauma Informed Practice in the works.
The program is organized into four grade band units: K–3, 4–6, 7–8, and 9–12. Each unit includes 15 lesson plans, with built-in guidance for differentiating instruction by grade level. Supporting materials include lesson plan PowerPoint presentations. Additional resources include grade-specific training with implementation guidelines and videos, as well as family and caregiver resources such as a parent introduction letter and family activity cards. The Getting Started page (see Related Links) provides access to the Educator Guide and Foundational Module.
