The BCTF has produced a new poster that teachers can print out and post in their classrooms, libraries, offices, or other workspaces. Mask wearing in schools is mandatory by order of the Provincial Health Officer. These posters can provide a reminder to students to keep their masks on and encourages them to wear them properly.

The Ministry of Education’s latest guidelines state that schools ”must” support mask use and can address non-compliant behaviour "through positive and inclusive approaches, aligned with existing professional practices".
