Assess the historical significance of the Battle of Vimy Ridge, in particular it's symbolic importance. Lesson involves viewing a background documentary (one is suggested), examining viewpoints and supporting sources, and working through interpretations and responses. One hour for the documentary, one to two hours for the follow-up source activity.
