Join a Provincial Specialist Association

You can take part in a Provincial Specialist Association (PSA) to join with like-minded educators. A list of Provincial Specialist Associations and their contact information here.

1. Check if you are eligible to join

Here's who can join a Provincial Specialist Association:

BCTF members can join as members
students in post-secondary programs leading to BC teacher certification, retired BCTF members, independent school teachers and others not affiliated with the BCTF can join as subscribers.

Please contact the individual PSAs with any questions regarding your PSA memberships.

2. Apply

You can apply and pay your PSA membership fee online.

BCTF members can also receive a complimentary PSA membership when they upload their first lesson plan or teaching resource to our teaching resource section (TeachBC).
