Teacher Inquiry Program
Two, 3-year terms, to August 2029

Three facilitators are needed to join the BCTF’s Teacher Inquiry Program (TIP) for a three-year term. The BCTF TIP facilitators co-design and facilitate inquiry sessions for groups of teachers, school staffs, and provincial specialist associations (PSAs) who are interested in strengthening their teaching practice through observation, reflection, conversation, and research on teaching and the teaching profession. The facilitators help guide participants through the inquiry process in six half-day sessions.

Members appointed as volunteer TIP facilitators will be provided training and release time to work as group facilitators, supporting a variety of processes, including collaborative conversations, research, book studies, and appreciative inquiry.

Applicants must be available for three two-day TIP facilitators' sessions in Vancouver: one in the fall, one in the winter, and one in the spring. In addition, facilitators must be available to facilitate six inquiry sessions in a local with the TIP participants which may include travelling within BC. The dates for these six sessions are determined collaboratively with the lead co-ordinator of the TIP project.
