Relationship to the seasons and seasonal cycles are foundational to many First Peoples cultures. This unit uses a range of resources and activities to introduce students to the many seasonal activities practiced by First Peoples. This unit is designed to be delivered incrementally over the course of the school year. In addition to addressing specific seasons in context, this approach also models a recursive approach to text, a key First Peoples learning methodology.
