Time Slot 1: Friday, April 22nd, 10:15-11:30am PST
Time Slot 2: Friday, April 22nd, 1:15-2:30pm PST

Water is Life is designed to deepen students’ understanding of climate issues,
the importance of water in our lives, and our connections to the world and
community around us. This workshop will foster student knowledge about
climate change, climate justice, and youth leadership, and empower them to
take individual and collective action. At the end of the workshop, students will
be challenged to form their own positive, sustainable water-related habits
(such as avoiding the use of single-use plastics), to help them think critically
about how their daily routines are connected to the environment. This
workshop is best for Grades 8-12.
