Seeking French-speaking facilitators for BCTF workshops

The British Columbia Teachers’ Federation (BCTF) invites passionate teachers to join our team as facilitators for our expansive workshop offerings on Professional and Social Issues programs. At the heart of these workshops is the principle of “teachers teaching teachers,” underscoring the vital role of teacher facilitators in the BCTF workshops program.

Annually, thousands of teachers benefit from workshops led by BCTF members. Given that many teachers may never interact directly with the BCTF Executive Committee, our facilitators serve as the ambassadors of the Federation. We are currently seeking dedicated teachers to become facilitators for a three-year term. Those selected will receive comprehensive training encompassing general design and facilitation skills, and specialized knowledge in content-specific program areas. To support our facilitators in their crucial work, we provide release time and cover expenses during workshop facilitation (i.e., travel, accommodations, dependent care, and meals).
